Mary Kathryn "Mickey" Wright

Mary Kathryn "Mickey" Wright, a former LPGA Tour professional golfer, was born on 14^th February, 1935 at San Diego, California, United States.

• Won the 1952 U. S. Girls’ Junior Championships, held in New Jersey
• Won the 1954 World Amateur Championships, held in the United Kingdom
• Secured the first place at the 1956 Jacksonville Open, held in Florida
• Secured the first place at the 1957 Jacksonville Open, 1957 Sea Island Open and 1957 Wolverine Open, held in Florida, Georgia and Michigan, respectively
• Became the Associated Press Female Athlete of the Year in 1963 and 1964
• Inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 1964
• Awarded the Bob Jones Award in 2010
