Michaela Kirchgasser

Michaela Kirchgasser, born on 18 March 1985, is a former World Cup alpine ski racer from Austria. She has predominantly competed in the technical events of giant slalom, slalom and the combined disciplines.  

Here are some of her career achievements:

• Won a gold medal in the team event in 2007, a silver medal in 2011, a gold medal and a silver medal in 2013, a gold medal and a bronze medal in 2015 and a bronze medal in 2017 in the combined event at the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships
• Bagged a gold medal and a silver medal in slalom and combined events in 2003 and a bronze medal in 2005 in the giant slalom at the World Junior Alpine Skiing Championships
