Michael 'MP' Peterson

Michael "MP" Peterson was born in Queensland, Australia on 24th September 1952. He was a professional Australian surfer fondly-known for his deep tube riding skills. He is regarded as one of the best surfers of his times.

Accomplishments:-

• Won the Australian championship in 1972 and 1974.
• His name was inducted into the Australian Surfing Hall of Fame in 1992.
• Won the first of three Queensland state titles in 1971.
• Surfer magazine ranked him at number 16 on their list of the "50 Greatest Surfers of All Time" in 2009.
