Lovlina Borgohain

Lovlina Borgohain is a professional Welterweight Boxer from India who has won a bronze medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics in the women's welterweight event and became only the third Indian boxer to earn an Olympic medal. Borgohain is the 1st female athlete and the 2nd boxer from Assam to represent India in the Olympics.

• Earned the Gold medal at the 1st India Open International Boxing Tournament, held in New Delhi.
• Clinched the Silver medal at the 2nd India Open International Boxing Tournament, held in Guwahati. 
• Won the bronze medal in the women's welterweight category at the 2017 Asian Championships
• Bagged a bronze medal in the women's welterweight category at the 2018 AIBA Women's World Boxing Championships.
• Claimed a bronze medal in the women's welterweight category at the 2019 AIBA Women's World Boxing Championships.
• Honored with Arjuna Award in 2020 and became the sixth person from Assam to receive the honour.
• Clinched the bronze medal in the women's welterweight category at the 2021 Asian Championships, held in Dubai.
