Komal Thatal

Born on 18^th September 2000, Komal Thatal is an Indian professional football player who was a part of the Indian squad at the 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup (participated only in the first match). He currently plays in the Indian Super League as a left-winger for ATK Mohun Bagan FC since 2018. Komal is the youngest footballer ever to play in the ISL.

Some of his major career achievements:-

• He is the first Indian to score a goal against Brazil at any level.
• Scored the most number of goals (9) for India at U-17 level and made a total of 31 appearances for the India U-17 national side.
• Made his ISL debut for ATK  in the 2017–18 season where he played against Jamshedpur in his debut match.
• Scored his first ISL goal for ATK in the 2018–19 season against Bengaluru and played 12 matches in the season.
• Thatal has represented India at U-20 and U-23 and also played in the Asian Cup U23 Qualifiers.
