Kisona Selvaduray

Born on 1^st October 1998, Kisona Selvaduray is a right-handed badminton player from Malaysia. Her first senior international victory came at the 2017 Indonesia International Series, where she defeated Indonesian player Gregoria Mariska Tunjung 10-21, 21-16, 21-19 in the finals.

Here are some of her major career achievements:

• Won the bronze medal in the mixed team event at the 2012 Badminton Asia Junior Championships
• She has defeated her compatriot Ho Yen Mei 21-15, 23-21 at the Asian Youth Games 2013 in the girls’ singles event to win a bronze medal.
• Clinched the gold medals at the 2017 and 2018 Malaysia International Series
• Bagged the gold medals at the Hellas Open and Sydney International in 2019
• Won the gold medal in women’s singles event and a bronze medal in women’s team event at the 2019 Southeast Asian Games
• Won the bronze medal at the 2020 Badminton Asia Championships in the women’s team event
