Kiran Kanojia was born on 25 December 1986 in Faridabad. Kiran is an Indian para-athlete who known as "India's Blade Runner". She excelled at education and after that she started working as a test engineer at Infosys in Hyderabad. On her 25th birthday, She boarded the train from Hyderabad to her hometown, Faridabad. While sitting near the gate, two robbers trying to snatch her bag and she was pushed out from the train by those robbers, and she lost her left leg in that incident. After 6 months of the incident, she came back to Hyderabad and she gets enrolled in the Dakshin Rehabilitation Centre (DRC) to recuperate the control of her life, and there she tried on a prosthetic leg. In the year of 2014, Kiran performed in the Hyderabad Airtel Marathon and vanquished her first medal.
