Born on 26 February 1988, Kim Yeon-Koung is a South Korean professional volleyball player who is currently playing for Fenerbahçe, a Turkish volleyball team. During 2005-2009, she was playing with Heungkuk Life and in 2009-2011 with JT Marvelous team.

- Her team won the silver medal in 2014 Asian Women’s Cup Volleyball Championship in which she was awarded the “Best Outside Spiker” title
- Honored with the “best scorer” and “best server” awards at 2013 Asian Volleyball Championship
- Earned the “best scorer” and the “MVP” award at the London Olympics in 2012
