Robert Kelly Slater

Robert Kelly Slater was born on 11th February 1972. He is a professional surfer from America much publicised for his style and prowess that enables him winning numerous surfing events. This American surfer has reigned the World Surf League Championship for a record 11 times among which five were won consecutively.

Here are some of his career achievements:-

• 2008- Finished 1st at the Billabong Pipeline Masters, Quiksilver Pro Gold Coast, Rip Curl Pro Bells Beach, Globe Pro Fiji, Billabong Pro J-Bay and Boost Mobile Pro.
• 2008- Quiksilver Pro, Gold Coast, held in Australia.
• 2009- 1st at the Hang Loose Pro, held in Brazil.
• 2010- Finished 1st at the Rip Curl Pro Search, Rip Curl Pro Bells Beach, Rip Curl Pro Portugal and Hurley Pro Trestles.
• 2011- Finsihed 1st at the Nike Pro US Open, Quiksilver Pro Gold Coast, Billabong Rio Pro and Hurley Pro Trestles.
• 2012- Finsihed 1st at the Quiksilver Pro France and Hurley Pro Trestles.
• 2013- Finsihed 1st at theVolcom Fiji Pro, Billabong Pipe Masters and Quiksilver Pro Gold Coast.
• 2014- 1st at the Volcom Pipe Pro, 2nd at the Billabong Pro Tahiti, 3rd at the Billabong Rio Pro, 3rd at the Hurley Pro.
• 2015- Finished 3rd at the J-Bay Open.
• 2016- 1st at the Billabong Pro Tahiti, 1st at the Volcom Pipe Pro, 3rd at the Fiji Pro, 3rd at the Billabong Pipe Masters.
• 2019- Finished 7th at the Triple Crown of Surfing (at Hawaiian Pro).
• 2021- Finished 3rd at the Billabong Pipe Masters.
