Jyoti Randhawa

Jyoti Singh Randhawa, born on 4^th May 1972, is one of the finest Golfers of India and the first Indian to be honored with the Asian Tour Order of Merit (in 2002). At present, he is placed at the 96^th position in the World Golf Ranking.

A brief account of his major encompassments is given here:-

• Randhawa twice won the Hero Honda Masters with 4 strokes and 1 stroke victory margin in 1998 and 1999 respectively.
• In 2000, he won the Singapore Open and Wills Indian Open tournament.
• He dominated the Hero Honda Indian Open tournament of 2006 and 2007 and also contributed his active participation as a part of the Indian team at the Royal Trophy tournament of 2006.
• In 2003, Randhawa won the Suntory Open (Japan Golf Tour) being the first Indian winner in Japan.
• Besides this, he also contributed his best to the Indian team at the World Cup tournament of 2005, 2007, 2008, and 2009.
