John Terry

John George Terry was born on 7th December 1980. He is a professional football player from England, best-known for his aggressive tackling and strong defending capability.

His Achievements:-

• Entitled as Chelsea "Player of the Year" two times: in 2001 and 2006
• Won the "PFA (Professional Footballers’ Association) Players' Player of the Year" for the season 2004–05
• Selected as the “Premier League Player of the Month" in January 2005
• Inducted into the FIFA World Cup All-Star Team in 2006
• Included in the PFA Team of the Century in 2007 for the time period of 1997-2007
• Won the title of "UEFA (Union of European Football Associations) Defender of the Year" in 2005, 2008 and 2009
• Successfully led Chelsea club to win the Premier League season 2009-2010 against "Wigan Athletic" with a score of 8-0 at Stamford Bridge
• Terry captained the Chelsea team in a home match against Aston Villa for the 400th time of his career on 31 December 2011, a record for the club.
• Terry scored Chelsea's fastest-ever goal in the 90 seconds against Schalke 04 at Champions League in 2014.
• He was named Man of the Match in Chelsea's 2–0 victory over Tottenham in the League Cup final on 1^st March 2015.
• Terry, along with his teammates, was voted into the PFA Premier League Team of the Year on 26 April 2015, while on 29 April, he became the Joint Highest-Scoring Defender in the Premier League with 38 goals.
• Entitled twice with the Alan Hardaker Trophy in 2005 and 2015.
