Jimmie Johnson

Born on 17th September 1975, Jimmie Kenneth Johnson is one of the most successful stock car racing drivers from the United States. With more than 80 career race wins, he is a champion of seven Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (in between 2006-2016).

Here are some of his major achievements listed below;

• In 1998, the American Speed Association (ASA) honored him with the title of "ASA Pat Schauer Memorial Rookie of the Year".
• Jimmie is the only driver who has been qualifying for the NASCAR “Chase for the Championship" every year since 2004.
• He is the lone driver in NASCAR history to win 5 consecutive championships from 2006 to 2010.
• He received "Driver of the Year" award for a record 5 times in 2006, 2007, 2009, 2010 and 2013.
• In 2009, Jimmie became the first racing driver to win "Associated Press Male Athlete of the Year" Award.
