James Nathaniel Brown

Jim Brown is an American football player who was active between 1957 and 1965. In National Football League (NFL), he held the position of fullback for the Cleveland Browns. He was certainly the greatest running backs of all-time in the history of the NFL. He, along with the Cleveland Browns, won the NFL championship in 1964. Jim Brown has won AP NFL Most Valued Player trice during his footballing career.

Here are some of his career achievements:-

• Received the NFL Rookie of the Year award in 1957
• A three-time NFL Most Valuable Player in  1957, 1958, and 1965
• Bestowed with the Bert Bell award in 1963.
• Aided Cleveland Browns to win the 1964 NFL Championship Game, held in Cleveland, Ohio
• Part of the NFL 1960’s All-Decade team
• Inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, in 1971
• Inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1995
• Named the "greatest professional football player ever" by 'The Sporting News'  in 2002.
