Jemimah Rodrigues

Born on 5^th September 2000, Jemimah Rodrigues is a right-handed middle-order batswoman from Bhandup, Mumbai. She started playing season cricket at the age of four and now plays for Mumbai Women’s cricket team in domestic cricket. Jemimah made her ODI debut for the national side in March 2018 against Australia and T20I debut in February 2018 against South Africa. She was also a part of the under-17 and under-19 hockey teams of Maharashtra.

Some of her career achievements:

• Made her U-19 debut at the age of 12 in the 2012-13 season where she was the youngest member of that U-19 team.
• The second woman to hit a double-century in ODI after hitting 202 off 163 balls against Saurashtra team in November 2017.
• Honoured with the Jagmohan Dalmiya Award for Best Domestic Junior Women's Cricketer by the BCCI in June 2018.
• Signed by the Baseline Ventures, a sports marketing firm to manage all her commercial interests in October 2018 because of her remarkable achievements in the sport.
• She was also a part of the Indian squad for the 2018 ICC Women’s World Twenty20 tournament where she was the youngest member of the Indian side.
• After 2018 ICC Women’s World Twenty20 tournament, ICC named her as the “Standout player in the team.”
