Born on 2nd March 1986 in Guwahati, Jayanta Talukdar is an Indian archer who has represented the country in various international archery events.
His Achievements:-
- Won a gold medal at the 2006 FITA Archery World Cup, held in Merida
- Bagged a gold medal at the 2006 Asian Games, which took place in Doha that year
- Earned a gold medal at the 2006 South Asian Games, which was held in Colombo
- Earned a bronze medal together with Deepika Kumari in the Recurve Team Mixed event at the 2015 Asian Archery Championships, held in Bangkok
- Honored with the “Arjuna Award” for archery, in 2007
