Jannik Sinner

Jannik Sinner is a professional tennis player from Italy who has won two singles titles on the ATP Tour, as well as three singles on the ATP Challenger. Sinner also has two singles and one doubles titles on the ITF Futures. He is currently ranked World No. 19 in singles (as of May 2021) by the FedEx ATP rankings. Sinner reached his career-high singles top ranking of world No. 17 on 17 May 2021. Sinner has a great two-handed backhand and has led the ATP Tour in the amount of topspin on the shot.

Here are some of his career major achievements

• Won his only doubles title in the ITF Futures at 2018 Italy F23 after upsetting Giacomo Dambrosi.
• Bagged the 2019 ATP Newcomer of the Year award, breaking into the top 100, reaching his first ATP semi-final and winning the title of 2019 Next Generation ATP Finals in Milan over Alex de Minaur.
• At the 2020 French Open, Sinner became the youngest quarterfinalist in men's singles since Novak Djokovic in 2006.
• Sinner won two ATP titles and became the youngest ATP titleholder since 2008, winning the 2020 Sofia Open.
• Despite limited success as a junior, Sinner began playing professional tournaments at the age of 16 and became one of the few players to win multiple ATP Challenger Tour titles at the age of 17.
• Sinner continued his ascent into the top 50 in 2020 with his first top 10 wins, a Grand Slam quarter-finals and his first ATP title.
• He has a good start in 2021, as evidenced by his second straight ATP title at the Great Ocean Road Open and runner-up in the Masters 1000 at the Miami Open.
