Heather Moyse

Born on 23^rd July 1978, in Prince Edward Island, Heather Moyse is a well-known Canadian athlete who represents her nation at international events of Bobsleigh, Rugby Union and track cycling.

Her achievements:-

• Thrice entitled as the Prince Edward Island's Senior Female Athlete of the Year in the years 2005, 2006 and 2010.
• Honored with the Young Alumni Award in 2010 by the University of Waterloo Faculty of Applied Health Sciences.
• Part of the Canada team that participated in the Women's Rugby World Cup of 2006 and 2010.
• In 2012, the 'Sportsnet Magazine' named her amongst the 30 Most Beautiful Athletes on the Planet. The same year, she participated for Canada at the Pan-American Cycling Championship, held in Argentina and finished fourth in the 500m Time Trial.
• Bestowed with the 'Order of Prince Edward Island' in 2014.
• Bagged a gold medal at the Two-woman Bobsleigh event of 2010 and 2014 Winter Olympics, held in Vancouver and Sochi respectively. Kaillie Humphries was her partner for both the event.
• Secured two bronze medal each in Two-Woman and Mixed Team event of the FIBT World Championship of 2011, held in Königssee.
