Hannelore (Hanni) Wenzel was born on 14th December 1956. She is a former alpine ski racer.

Her Achievements:-

Bagged silver and a gold medal at the 1974 FIS Alpine World Ski Championships, held in St. Moritz resort
Bagged a bronze medal at the 1976 Winter Olympics, held in Innsbruck
Earned a silver medal at the 1978 FIS Alpine World ski Championships, held in Garmisch.
Voted the UPI (United Press International) Sportswoman of the Year in 1980 by European Sports writers.
Roped in 2 gold and a silver medal at the 1980 Winter Olympics, held in Lake Placid.
