Gaurav Ghei

Gaurav Ghei was born on 25th September 1968. He is a prolific Indian golfer who took up golf as a profession in the year 1991. He plays on the Asian Tour.

Accomplishments:-

• Became the first Indian golfer to qualify for The Open Championship in 1997.
• Thrice represented India in the World Cup of 1997, 2003 and 2007, respectively.
• Won three Asian Tour titles that include the 1995 Gadgil Western Masters, the 2006 Taiwan Masters, and the 2007 Beijing Open.
• Won the 1994 Desaru Classic, held in Malaysia.
