Franko Škugor

Franko Škugor is a professional tennis player from Croatia who has specialized playing in doubles and mainly has played on the ATP Challenger Tour. Škugor has won six doubles titles on the ATP Tour, as well as two singles and ten doubles titles on the ATP Challenger. Škugor also has five singles and four doubles titles on the ITF Futures. He is currently ranked World No. 37 in doubles (as of May 2021) by the FedEx ATP rankings. Škugor reached his career-high doubles top ranking of world No. 17 on 22 April 2019.

Here are some of his career major achievements:-

• Škugor is best known for his very powerful serve up to 230 km / h (143 mph), as well as very strong groundstrokes.
• Together with his doubles partner Nikola Mektić, he reached the doubles semifinals at the 2017 Wimbledon Championships.
• In November 2019, following the departure of Željko Krajan, Škugor was named the captain of the Croatia Davis Cup team at the 2019 Davis Cup.
• Together with his doubles partner Dominic Inglot, he claimed three ATP career doubles finals title including the 2018 Hungarian Open, 2018 Rosmalen Championships and 2018 Swiss Indoors.
• With Nikola Mektić, Škugor bagged the Masters 1000 doubles finals title at 2019 Monte-Carlo Masters.
