Fernando Torres is a Spanish footballer born on March 20, 1984, in Fuenlabrada, Spain. He gained fame for his skillful play as a striker. Torres began his career with Atletico Madrid, his hometown club, before moving to Liverpool FC in 2007, where he became a fan favorite and earned the nickname "El Niño." He later played for Chelsea FC, where he won numerous trophies including the UEFA Champions League. Torres also represented the Spanish national team, winning the UEFA European Championship in 2008 and 2012, and the FIFA World Cup in 2010. He retired from professional football in 2019.
