Eric Gordon

Born on 25th December 1988, Eric Ambrose Gordon Jr. is a professional basketball player from the United States. He plays at the position of the shooting guard for the Houston Rockets of the National Basketball Association (NBA).

A glimpse of some of his career achievements:-

• Gordon scored a career-high 50 points in a 126–117 win against the Utah Jazz on January 27, 2020.
• He became the third Rocket to score 40 or more points in a game in the season of 2020, and the only player other than Harden to score 50 or more in 24 years.
• He tied a career-high with eight 3-pointers in a 149-113 win against Phoenix Suns on April 7, 2019.
• On October 25, 2017, Gordon scored a then-season-high 29 points and scored the game-winning buzzer-beater 3-pointer to lead the Rockets to a 105–104 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers.
• Gordon scored 17 of his season-high with 33 points in the 4th quarter of the Rockets' 120–99 victory over the Utah Jazz on December 18, 2017.
• Honoured with the NBA Sixth Man of the Year in 2017
• He became the NBA Three-Point Contest champion in 2017
• Inducted into the NBA all-rookie second team in 2009
• Honoured as the NBA Western Conference "Rookie of the Month" in January 2009.
• Bestowed with the Big Ten Freshman of the Year title in 2008.
• Entitled as the Gatorade National Male Athlete of the Year in 2007.
