Eesha Karavade

Born on 21st November 1987, Eesha Karavade is one of the prominent Indian chess players. She holds the title of Woman Grandmaster as well as International Grandmaster; the titles she earned in 2005 and 2010, respectively.

Her Achievements:-

• Secured one gold and two silver medals along with her team at the Asian Nations Cup, held in Tabriz in 2014.
• Part of the women chess team that secured 4th rank at the 40th Chess Olympiad, held in Istanbul in 2012
• The first runners-up at the National Women's Premier Chess Championship, held in Chennai in 2011
• Bronze medal at the Asian Individual Women Chess Championship, held in Iran in 2011
• Gold medal at the Commonwealth Chess Championship, held in South Africa in 2011
• Honored with the "Shiv Chhatrapati Award" conferred by the Government of Maharashtra in 2004.
