Cecilia Brækhus

Cecilia Carmen Linda Brækhus was born on 28th September 1981. She is a professional boxer and a former kickboxer, from Norway. She is the first woman to earn the titles of WBA, WBC, IBF, and WBO titles simultaneously under various weight categories.

Her Achievements:-

• Silver medalist at the Women’s European Amateur Boxing Championships of 2004, held in Riccione.
• Won a silver medal at the Women’s World Amateur Boxing Championships of 2005, held in Podolsk.
• Credited a gold medal to her name at the Women’s European Amateur Boxing Championships of 2005, held in Tonsberg.
• Became the WBC (Women’s Boxing Championships) World Champion in 2009 after defeating Vinni Skovgaard.
• Elected the "Female Boxer of the Year" 2010 by German boxing magazine BoxSport.
• In 2010, not only did she successfully defend her WBA, WBA, and WBC titles against Mikaela Laurén but also won the World Professional Boxing Federation (WPBF) title.
