Bethany Hamilton, a brave surfer from Hawaii, was born on February 8, 1990, and fell in love with surfing at an early age. Her life took a challenging turn at 13 when a shark attack claimed her left arm. Unfazed, Bethany, with remarkable courage, returned to surfing. Her story of resilience resonated globally, turning her into a professional surfer, author, and motivational speaker. Through her foundation, she supports amputees, spreading the message of overcoming obstacles.
