Arun Lal

Born on 1^st August 1955, in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, Jagdish Arun Lal is a former Indian cricketer and commentator. He was part of the Indian national cricket team and played astoundingly well in between 1982-1989.

His achievements as a cricketer:-

• He has a domestic record of scoring 1000 runs while playing Delhi cricket team and Bengal cricket team.
• Arun Lal has scored a total of 729 runs in his Test career with an average of 26.03. 
• At the age of 27, Arun made a debut of his Test career playing against Sri Lanka in 1982 and made 63 runs.
• Contributed two half-centuries as part of the Indian cricket team during a Test match of 1986 against Pakistan. 
• Played a key role in emerging victory for Bengal at the Ranji season 1989-90.
