Annerys Victoria Vargas Valdez is a Dominican Republic’s volleyball player and was born on 7th August 1981 in Santo Domingo. She plays for the country’s national team and for the River Volley Piancenza club as a middle blocker.
A glimpse of some of her achievements:-
- She is a part of the team who won the four back-to-back gold medals at the Central American and Caribbean Games in the years 2002, 2006, 2010 and 2014.
- She was bestowed as the Dominican Republic’s "Volleyball Player of the year" in 2006 as well as in 2013.
- She bagged the titles of “Best Server”, “Best Blocker” and the “Most Valuable Player” at the 2006 Central American and Caribbean Games.
