Alexander "Sascha" Zverev

Born on 20 April 1997, Alexander "Sascha" Zverev is a professional tennis player from Germany who has bagged 13 ATP singles and 2 ATP doubles titles. Zverev's current ATP singles ranking is world No. 7 as of January 2021. He achieved his career-high ATP singles ranking of World No. 03 in July 2017, and since then he has been a permanent fixture in the top 10 rankings. Zverev is also the youngest winner of the decade to win the year-end championship, 2018 ATP Finals.

• As a junior, Zverev bagged the junior Grand Slam singles title after defeating Stefan Kozlov at 2014 Australian Open
• At the age of 17, Zverev became one of the youngest Challenger title winners in history at 2014 Sparkassen Open, beats Paul-Henri Mathieu
• Clinched another Challenger title at 2015 Heilbronner Neckarcup after beating Guido Pella
• Zverev won three ATP Masters singles titles and defeated Novak Djokovic, Roger Federer & Dominic Thiem at 2017 Italian Open, 2017 Canadian Open and 2018 Madrid Open
• Became the youngest champion of the decade of the year-end championships at the 2018 ATP Finals
• After Novak Djokovic, Zverev was the youngest player to made into top 20 rankings at the age of 20 
• With his elder brother and doubles partner Mischa Zverev, Alexander bagged two ATP doubles title at 2017 Open Sud de France and 2019 Mexican Open
• Reached into the 2020 US Open finals, his first Grand Slam final but lost to Dominic Thiem
• Conquered 13 ATP singles title including 2016 - St. Petersburg Open; 2017 - Open Sud de France, Bavarian Championships, Italian Open, Washington Open & Canadian Open; 2018 - Bavarian Championships, Madrid Open, Washington Open & ATP Finals; 2019 - Geneva Open; 2020 - Cologne Indoors & Cologne Championship
