Aaron James Finch

Aaron Finch is an Australian cricketer who was part of the 2015 World Cup-winning Australian team that won the prestigious tournament defeating New Zealand. Although he has also played ODI cricket and Test Cricket for Australia, he is best known for his record in T20I. On 3 July 2018, he scored 172 runs in a T20I match against Zimbabwe and became only the second Australian batsman to score two centuries in a T20I.

• Selected as the Big Bash League Player Of The Year in 2012
• Honoured with the Men’s T20I Player of the Year title by Cricket Australia at the Allan Border Medal ceremony in 2014
• In 2015, he became the first batsman to score 1000 runs in the Big Bash League.
• He is the first batsman to score 150 runs in a T20I inning.
• He also holds the record for most fours (16) scored by a player in a T20I inning.
• Became the 1st player to reach 900 rating points and gained 1st place in the official ICC T20I rankings in 2018.
• Holds the record for the highest individual score of 172 runs in a T20I against Zimbabwe in 2018 and also the record for the highest individual score by an opener and a captain.
