Thirush Kamini

Murugesan Dickeshwashankar Thirush Kamini, born on 30^th July 1990, is a professional cricket player from India. She has represented the Indian Women’s National Cricket team in 38 Women’s One-day International matches.

Her Achievements:-

• Thirush was entitled as the BCCI Senior Player of the Year for the season  2009-2010 and 2012-2013.  
• Helped India to win the 2006 Asia Cup, held in Jaipur and was also honoured with the Player of the Tournament award for the same.
• Helped team India winning the 2013 ICC Women's World Cupon on 1st Match Group A: India Women vs. West Indies women, held in Mumbai by scoring a century. By scoring a century at the event, she became the first Indian woman to hit a hundred in the World Cup. She was also entitled as the Player of the Tournament at the event.
