Gregory James "Greg" LeMond, born on 26th June 1961, is former professional road racing cyclist who competes for America at international events.

His Achievements:-

  • Won the gold medal in junior road race category at the 1979 UCI Road World Championships, held in Buenos Aires.
  • Bagged a silver medal in road race at the 1982 World Championships, held in Goodwood.
  • Roped in a gold medal at the 1983 World Championships which took place in Altenrhein.
  • Captured a silver medal at the 1985 World Championships, held in Giavera di Montello.
  • Won the gold medal in road race at the 1989 World Championships, held in Chambery.
  • Inducted into the United States Bicycling Hall of Fame in 1996.
