Francesco Moser

Francesco Moser was born on 19^th June 1951. He is a former professional road bicycle racer who has represented Italy in various international cycling competitions.

His Achievements:-

• Secured the first position at the 1974 Paris–Tours, held in France.
• Bagged a silver medal at the 1976 World Championships, held in Ostuni.
• Roped in a gold medal at the 1977 World Road Racing Championships, held in San Cristobal, Venezuela.
• Won the European classic cycle race Züri-Metzgete which was held in Zürich, Switzerland in 1977.
• Won the 1978 Giro di Lombardia cycling race held in Lombardy, Italy.
• Captured a silver medal at the 1978 World Championships, held in Nurburgring.
• Won at the 1984 Giro d'Italia, held throughout Italy.
