Ariake Coliseum is an indoor sporting arena, located in Ariake, Tokyo, Japan. It is situated at the heart of Ariake Tennis Forest Park and is counted amongst Japan’s main tennis venues that have been employed for Japan Open Tennis Championship and Toray Pan Pacific Open. The maximum seating capacity of the venue is 10,000. The stadium gives a fine example of architecture with a retractable roof which pre-dates the one at Wimbledon in London. The Ariake Coliseum is built within the Ariake Tennis Forest as an indoor tennis park. The stadium also hosts rounds of the WTA Pan Pacific Open, a women's tennis tournament.

Great players such as John McEnroe, Stefan Edberg, Pete Sampras, Jim Courier, Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Andy Murray, and Japan's Kei Nishikori had won prestigious matches in Japan Open Tennis Tournament at this stadium.
The construction of Ariake Coliseum began in 1985 and completed in 1987.

Significance

The stadium has hosted the Toyota Princess Cup from 1997 to 2002.
Ariake Coliseum hosted the FIVB World Grand Prix from 2006 to 2007 and the FIVB World League from 2008 to 2009.
The stadium has been serving as the venue for Toray Pan Pacific Open since 2008.
