The Vincennes Racecourse or quite commonly known as Hippodrome de Vincennes is said to have been the home of horse racecourse for almost 150 years in Paris, France. The race course is situated on the edge of Bois de Vincennes, to the east of the capital. The ground is also used for hosting various concerts, musical and cultural events and is regarded as one of the highly esteemed race course of the world. The race course track was initially built in the year 1863 after which, it was destroyed during the Franco-Prussian War and was again remodeled into the present form in 1879. It comprises of two race tracks and has more than 150 stalls for the horses. It is said to support a capacity of around 60,000 spectators.
