Nordlyshallen or 'The Northern Light Hall' is an indoor sports arena, located in Norway. The construction began in August 1991 and the arena was finally inaugurated in the year 1992 on 25th November. A subsidiary of Hamar Municipality (known as Hamar Olympiske Anlegg) owns the arena. It is mainly used for ice hockey and also hosts other sports such as figure skating, short track speed skating, and handball. The arena has been a venue for many notable events and concerts as well. The construction cost of building Nordlyshallen was 83 million Norwegian krone (NOK). Since 1992, a Norwegian ice hockey team Storhamar Ishockey has been using the arena as their home ground.
