The International Stadium Yokohama is a sports venue, located in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. It is commonly known as the 'Nissan Stadium'. Opened on 1st March 1998, the stadium is owned by Yokohama City and operated by Yokohama Sports Association and Yokohama F. Marinos. An estimated amount of ¥60.3 billion was spent on the construction of the stadium. The International Stadium Yokohama has been the home of the Japanese football team Yokohama F. Marinos. This grass field stadium can hold around 72,327 spectators, which is considered as the highest seating capacity amongst all the stadia of Japan.
