Born on 26th September 1988, in Nurnberg, Germany, Servet Tazegül is a Turkish taekwondo practitioner who competes in the featherweight division.

Achievements:-

• Won a bronze medal in men's 68 kg class at the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics
• Secured a Bronze medal at the 2009 World Championships, held in Copenhagen
• Clinched a gold medal at the World Championships in the featherweight division that took place in Gyeongju in the year 2011
• Won a gold medal in the men's 68 kg class at the 2012 London Summer Olympics
• Bronze medalist in the featherweight division at the 2013 Mediterranean Games, held in Mersin
• Bagged a gold medal at the World Championships, held in the year 2015 in Chelyabinsk
• Five times European champion in the featherweight division held in: Rome (2008), St. Petersburg (2010), Manchester (2012), Baku (2014), Monteux (2016)
