Serena Williams holds the record for winning 23 Grand Slam singles titles which is the most by a tennis player in the Open Era.
Serena has won 14 Grand Slam doubles titles with her sister Venusand both of them are unbeaten at Grand Slam doubles finals.
On July 8, 2002, she became the World No.1 tennis player for the first time.
Serena has secured four gold medals in the doubles event at the Olympic Games of 2000, 2008 and 2012.
Since returning from hermedical break in 2011, she has made at least 1 grand slam final in each year and has won at least 1 grand slam title in each of the last six years.
