Samiullah Shenwari is a much-publicised leg-break bowler of the National team of Afghanistan who was born on 31st December 1987 at NangarharProvince, Afganistan. His achievements:
Samiullah was the substantial part of the cricket team of the nation that has won the Divisionfive, four and three of the World Cricket League 2008.
Scored 164 runs in partnership along with AsgharStanikzai for the sixth wicket in the AsiaCup of the year 2008. It was the highest sixth-wicket partnership of the event.
Thrice entitled as the "Man of the Match" in the ODIs against Scotland (in 2013 and 2015) and Bangladesh (2014)
Entitled as the "Man of the Match" of the ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier series of the year 2012 and 2014, and in the match played against Ireland in India in the year 2016
Received the title of the "Player of the Series" of the 2014 ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier matches
In the final group stage match of the 2018 Ghazi Amanullah Khan Regional One Day Tournament, he scored 192 runs, batted for the Speen Ghar region against Amo region and finished the tournament as the leading run-scorer, with 398 in six matches.
In September 2018, Shenwari was named in Paktia's squad in the first edition of the Afghanistan Premier League.
Samiullah was named in Afghanistan's squad for the 2019 Cricket World Cup in April 2019
In November 2019, he was named as the captain of the Afghanistan team for the 2019 ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup in Bangladesh.
