Rebecca Twigg is a former American racing cyclist, who was born on 26 March 1963, in the United States. At the age of 18, she started pursuing her passion and later on made her name entitled amongst the most successful women cyclists on both road and track.
A glimpse on her achievements:-
- Rebecca won six world track cycling championships in an individual pursuit
- Won silver in the 1984 Olympic Event of road racing in Los Angeles and a bronze medal in 1992 at Barcelona
- Gained a gold medal in PAN American Games of 1987 both in track as well as road racing
- Won the first three editions of the "Ore-Ida Women's Challenges"
