Ravindrasinh Anirudhsinh Jadeja was born on 6th December 1988. He is a professional Indian cricketer who plays international cricket as well as domestic cricket for Gujarat Lions in the Indian Premier League.
Conferred with the Madhavrao Scindia Award for the most number of wickets taken in Ranji Trophy, in the season 2008-09
Received the Man of the Match award playing against host team Australia, in a Twenty20 season 2011-12
Took a 5-wicket haul in the ODI against West Indies that took place in Oval, London in the year 2013
Chosen as the member of the ICC (International Cricket Council) World ODI XI in 2013 and 2016
Managed a 10-wicket haul in the International Test match against England held in M.A, Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai in the year 2016
Won the "Man of the Match" award in ODIs of 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2013, played against Sri Lanka, Cuttack, South Africa, England, and West Indies, respectively
On 28 March 2017, Jadeja was featured in all four tests against Australia, where he took 25 wickets and scored two handy half-centuries down the order, which earned him the Player of the Match as well as the Player of the Series awards in the concluded series.
Jadeja became the top-ranked bowler in the world in the ICC Test Rankings in March 2017, along with Ravichandran Ashwin.
He became the fastest left-arm bowler to reach 150 wickets in 32 Tests on 5 August 2017.
In 2018, he was ranked 2nd in the ICC Top 10 Test all-rounders
Scored his first century in Tests on 5th October 2018
During the second ODI against Australia in March 2019, he became the third cricketer for India to score 2,000 runs and take 150 wickets in ODIs.
In the first Test against South Africa, he took his 200th wicket in Test cricket in October 2019.
