Born on 30th November 1984 in Oskemen, Olga Rypakova is a track and field athlete from Kazakhstan. Initially, she was a heptathlete but post 2007; she focussed only on the triple jump and long jump. Her Achievements:
At the London Olympics in 2012, Olga won a gold medal in triple jump. In the next Olympics held in 2016, she secured a bronze medal in the same discipline.
Silver medal at the World Championships of 2011, held in Daegu. She also clinched bronze medals in the competition of the year 2015 and 2017, held in Beijing and London, respectively.
Gold and a silver medal at the World Indoor Championships of the year 2010 and 2012, held in Doha and Istanbul, respectively
Won a gold medal in heptathlon and bronze medal in long jump at the Asian Games of 2006, held in Doha. Olga again won gold medals in the Games held in 2010 and 2014.
She also earned three gold medals at the Asian Indoor Games: one in pentathlon in the year 2005 and two in 2009 in triple and long jump
