Born on 20th March1982, Nisha Millet is a professional Indian swimmer who predominantly participated in freestyle swimming events. She is the only Indian woman who was a part of a swim team of SydneyOlympics in 2000.
Won her first state level medal in 50 m freestyle, in 1992, held in Chennai
Won her first international medal at the 1994Asian Age Group Championships held in HongKong
Received the Prime Minister’s Award for Best Sportswoman of the National Games in 1997 and 1999
Holds the record for having the highest number of Gold medals (14) at the 1999Indian National Games, held in Manipur

Won a silver medal at the 2003Afro-Asian Games, held in Hyderabad
