- Bagged a gold medal at the 1979 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships, held in Ft. Worth.
- Won two gold and two silver medals in the 1980 Summer Olympics, held in Moscow.
- Roped in five gold medals at 1981 Summer Universiade, held in Bucharest.
