Lisa Carrington is a flatwater canoer from New Zealand, born on June 23, 1989. She is the winner of “Sportswoman of the year” and the “Supreme award” at the 2016 Halberg Awards.
Some of her career achievements are:-
Won the gold medal in k-1 200m event in 2012 and 2016 Summer Olympics held at London and Rio de Janeiro respectively and a bronze medal as well in K-1 500m of 2016 Rio Olympics
Bagged gold medals in K-1 200m event in 2011, 2013, 2014, 2015, gold medal in K-1 500m event in 2015, silver medal in K-1 500m in 2014 and bronze medal in K-1 500m in 2013 ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships
