Born on 17th February 1936 at St. Simons in Georgia, James Nathaniel Brown is a former professional American football player. He had played as a fullback for the Cleveland Browns of the National Football League (NFL).
A four-time NFL Most Valuable Player in 1957, 1958, 1963 and 1965
Received the NFL Rookie of the Year award in 1957
Bestowed with the Bert Bell award in 1963
Aided Cleveland Browns to win the 1964 NFL Championship Game, held in Cleveland, Ohio

Inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, in 1971
