Born on 21st November 1987, Eesha Karavade is one of the prominent Indian chess players. She holds the title of Woman Grandmaster as well as International Grandmaster; the titles she earned in 2005 and 2010, respectively.
Her Achievements:-
- Secured one gold and two silver medals along with her team at the Asian Nations Cup, held in Tabriz in 2014
- Part of the women chess team that secured 4th rank at the 40th Chess Olympiad, held in Istanbul in 2012
- The first runners-up at the National Women's Premier Chess Championship, held in Chennai in 2011
- Bronze medal at the Asian Individual Women Chess Championship, held in Iran in 2011
- Gold medal at the Commonwealth Chess Championship, held in South Africa in 2011
