Born on 29th April 1983 in Kolkata; Satyarup Siddhanta is an Indian mountaineer who has successfully climbed seven summits and seven volcanic peaks around the world and is known as the youngest mountaineer to do so. Satyarup is a software engineer, motivational speaker, environmentalist and adventurer who never miss an opportunity to dare.
Successfully summited Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest peak of Africa along with a team of nine mountaineers on 29th June 2012 and again led a team of five members on 14th June 2018
Climbed Mount Elbrus, the highest mountain in Europe on 27th June 2013
Climbed Mount Aconcagua on 13th January 2014. It is regarded as the highest non-technical mountain in the world
Honoured with the Radhanath Sikdar Tenzing Norgay Adventure Award in 2016 by the State Youth Services Department, Government of West Bengal
Skied the last degree to the South Pole and covered 111 km distance by dragging a 50 kg sledge for 6 days in December 2017
Climbed Mount Wilhelm, the highest peak of Papua New Guinea on 14th November 2018 after his victorious climb to Mount Giluwe of Oceania and became the first Indian to do so
Played the National Anthem on flute in the extreme climatic conditions in Antarctica
