Zinkensdamms IP is known as one of the largest grounds for American football and bandy in the city of Stockholm, Sweden. This stadium is also used as the home ground of famous American football team “Stockholm Machines” and other association football team Reymersholms IK. This oldest football stadium of Sweden was inaugurated on 18th May 1937 and designed by renowned architect Paul Hedqvist. In the year of 1941, Zinkensdamm IP recorded its highest attendance of 11,543 spectators during a premier division football qualifier match. This is the sports ground where Bandy leagues are played for the most number of times, in Sweden. There is a 6,700 sqm artificially frozen bandy rink. Since 1986, the ice has been artificially frozen at the biggest artificially frozen rink of Sweden, constructed here. This stadium is used almost regularly by nearby associations, school, and college.
