The Value City Arena is a multi-purpose arena at the Jerome Schottenstein Center, situated at the Ohio State University campus, in Columbus, Ohio, USA that came into existence in 1998. It has different seating capacity for various sports codes. Until the opening of the Nationwide Arena in the year 2000, the Value City Arena was the main venue for sports, entertainment, and music concerts, held in the Columbus, Ohio metropolitan area. Since its inception, it has been the home for the teams of Ohio State Buckeyes men’s & women's basketball and men's ice hockey. The facility here has been named after Jerome Schottenstein, the main benefactor of this project and the founder of Schottenstein Stores Corp.
